The Certificate of Work Readiness Guide - Could you offer a work placement to a young person?

The Certificate of Work Readiness - a guide to setting up work placements in NHSScotland is a 'how to' guide for NHSScotland staff thinking about offering a young person a placement in the NHS.

The guidance describes the key stages including making initial contact with Skills Development Scotland, recruiting the young person and establishing the local network of support during the placement. This online guidance can be accessed and downloaded from this LINK.

More information about the benefits of work placements can be found in an article from the ACCESS newsletter Autumn 2014 describing the benefits to the organisation, mentor and young persons on placement - LINK
